What we collect

  • Odoo data — read-only access to the records in the Odoo modules you connect (finance, sales, inventory, CRM, and the like), synced to a managed intermediary database to power your analytics.
  • Account & workspace data — the user accounts you provision, their assigned module permissions, and display names.
  • Usage data — which dashboards and AI features are used, AI model selections, and feature interaction counts.
  • Credentials you provide — connection details for your Odoo database and any optional API keys, stored encrypted at rest.

What we don't do

Superlative is read-only with respect to your Odoo. We never write to, edit, or delete records in your Odoo database — your ERP remains your single system of record. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising, and we do not use your business data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

How we use it

Solely to operate the product you enable: composing analytics across your Odoo modules, answering AI chat questions, and — where you connect it — delivering reports to Slack via Via. Your data is used to serve your workspace and no one else's.

Third-party processors

Certain features send data to third-party services to function. You control which are active.

  • OpenRouter / AI providers — the question text and the relevant figures needed to generate an AI answer.
  • Slack (via Viably) — when you enable the @Via integration, the report content you request is delivered to the Slack channels or recipients you designate.
  • Cloud hosting — your synced data is stored with a reputable cloud provider with encryption at rest and in transit.

Data retention

Synced data is retained as long as your Superlative workspace is active. Disconnecting your Odoo or closing your workspace triggers deletion of your synced data within 30 days. You can also request immediate deletion by emailing us.

Security

All data is stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest and in transit. Database credentials and API keys are encrypted before storage. Access is restricted to Supertype engineering staff.

Your data rights

You have the right to access, transfer, and delete the data Superlative holds about your workspace.

  • Access: Request what data we hold for your workspace via email.
  • Transfer/portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format (JSON).
  • Deletion: Disconnecting your Odoo or closing your workspace triggers automatic deletion within 30 days. For immediate deletion, email us.
  • Legal rights: If you are in the EU or California, you may have additional privacy rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws. Contact us to understand your options.
